Sep 20, 2015 · just so im clear abuot what update my radio needs. the part #68461703ac. its a new unit that had never been installed with a manufacture date of 7-21. the current software is from what im reading on here i can update to the 22.6. I'm looking to download the uconnect 8.4 frimware to re-install my configuration, I tried using my VIN to download update uconnect 8.4 from but it tells me that I have the latest version !! who can help me get uconnect 8.4? Even if you can get it I'm not sure it will load. In the past we needed specific installed versions.

Where do you find that version string? I checked mine tonight and it's showing software version 20.53.10. For some reason, I question if this is the latest but yet the uconnect site says I have the latest version for my vin.

Did not know you had to download files to a flash drive and try to install. I got the same email about a $99 update ( instead of $199) and I know maps are out of date, but they work.
